ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. – The United States Hispanic Chamber of Commerce (USHCC) is proud to announce the appointment of Ernie C’de Baca, President & CEO of the Albuquerque Hispano Chamber of Commerce (AHCC) to the USHCC Board of Directors. C’de Baca was appointed at the USHCC Board of Directors meeting held during the 2019 USHCC National Convention in Albuquerque.
“We are very excited to announce that Ernie will be joining the USHCC Board of Directors and will represent the important voices and needs of chambers and small businesses within his region,” said Ramiro A. Cavazos, USHCC President & CEO. “The AHCC is a leading example of our chambers working across the country to promote Hispanic-owned businesses by working closely with corporate partners, the public sector, and the local small business community. We look forward to continuing to strengthen our chambers’ voices with Ernie’s leadership on our Board of Directors.”

The USHCC, which was founded in New Mexico, celebrated their 40th anniversary at the USHCC National Convention recently. “We were so happy to be back in New Mexico 40 years later,” added Cavazos. “Ernie and the Albuquerque Hispano Chamber of Commerce were outstanding hosts for our National Convention, and we could not have had our best National Convention yet without his team’s support.”
The USHCC Board of Directors is comprised of leaders from USHCC Chambers of Commerce, Hispanic Business Enterprises (HBEs), and Corporate Partner Members. C’de Baca will serve his three-year term, with the potential to serve an additional term.
