WASHINGTON, D.C. – The United States Hispanic Chamber of Commerce (USHCC) will host a Green Builds Business educational training program, in partnership with Toyota North America. Green Builds Business will consist of four free seminars, each hosted in partnership with a USHCC local chamber and led by clean-tech business pioneer Bill Roth.

The next Green Builds Business training will take place on Thursday, February 27 in San Antonio, Texas, in partnership with the San Antonio Hispanic Chamber of Commerce.

Green Builds Business educates participants on how USHCC Corporate Partner Members (CPM) are using green practices and competitive clean technologies to lower costs by reducing emissions and waste streams. “Green Builds Business is the key that will open the door for a business seeking to get their share of the $1.3 trillion U.S. annual green economy,” said Bill Roth.

“Hispanic small businesses are looking for innovative ways to grow and scale from an ecological and an economic perspective,” said Ramiro Cavazos, USHCC President & CEO. “Together with Toyota, Bill Roth, and our USHCC local chambers, we look forward to sharing best practices about environmental sustainability.”

The Green Builds Business training will provide best proven green practices in pricing, marketing, sales, and LEAN operations. The program will also teach sales and marketing practices to business owners tailored to Millennial, Generation Z, and Lifestyles of Health and Sustainability (LOHAS) market segments who are searching for products and services that align with their values.

“Programs like Green Builds Business help create sustainable business practices that meet business objectives as well as environmental needs. That’s a commitment all of us should be on board with,” said Sebastian Ontiveros, National Director of Multicultural Engagement at Toyota North America.

Every Green Builds Business participant will receive a complimentary workbook that provides step by step instructions that they can take back to their business to implement ideas learned during the training.

Additional details on future trainings are forthcoming.
